The general areas, such as the lounge and dining room, were comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing and socializing with other guests. , the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent. There were no steep stairs or tricky pathways, making it easy for me to navigate around with my walking stick.

I would have appreciated if there were more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps some organized day trips or social events where I could meet other like-minded individuals.

coastguard house villa was an amazing stay! after my previous visit to woodhorn, i had high expectations, and this time they were exceeded. the beautiful house, spacious rooms, and the fun hot tub were the highlights for me. being walking distance to the beach and local pubs was a bonus. had such a great time with friends!

The apartment at Coastguard House was absolutely amazing! It had not one, but two bathrooms with either a bath or shower AND a hot tub! Can you believe it? I felt like a king/queen with all that luxury. The seating area was super cozy and the stovetop and microwave made it super easy to grab a quick bite. It was a real haven for relaxation and indulgence.

If I had to nitpick, I guess I would say that having two bathrooms with only a hot tub might not be everyone's cup of tea. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure others would still enjoy it.
